About the Role

Dragnet Solutions is a leading organization dedicated to operational excellence, and we are currently hiring a Senior Medical Officer specializing in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Paediatrics. In this vital healthcare role, you will provide comprehensive clinical care, independently managing patients across both in-patient and out-patient settings while supporting consultant-led initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide independent assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based management of patients in family medicine, internal medicine, or paediatrics.
  • Support consultant-led clinics, ward rounds, and medical procedures while ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support junior medical officers and trainees to foster professional development.
  • Contribute actively to clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs.
  • Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and timely clinical records in compliance with hospital standards.
  • Maintain a current Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) registration and practicing licence.
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate seamless patient care.
  • Support managed-care and HMO processes through cost-effective and clinically sound practices.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) from a recognized institution.
  • Successful completion of housemanship/internship and NYSC, or possession of a valid exemption certificate.
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-NYSC clinical experience with proven progression through Medical Officer grades.
  • Current, valid MDCN practicing licence.
  • Progress toward a postgraduate fellowship (e.g., primary or part exams of NPMCN or WACP) is an added advantage.
  • Relevant additional certifications such as advanced life support or quality improvement training.
