About the Role
Zipline is transforming on-demand delivery through the world's largest autonomous aircraft network, bringing vital medical supplies to people when and where they need them most. In Nigeria, our logistics infrastructure directly enables uninterrupted operations by ensuring the reliable import, storage, and replenishment of finished goods, aircraft spares, and production materials. We are looking for an experienced Senior Logistics Analyst to own our country-level operating function from end to end.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end logistics operations in Nigeria, encompassing international inbound freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and final delivery to Zipline sites.
- Design comprehensive shipment plans covering routing, port handoffs, inland transportation, and receipt confirmation.
- Drive import enablement and customs execution, handling regulatory approvals, exemptions, licenses, and resolving issues with brokers and government authorities.
- Monitor and evaluate third-party partners including freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and warehouse providers against service level agreements and cost expectations.
- Maintain rigorous inventory accuracy across all Nigerian storage locations through regular cycle counts, stock monitoring, and robust transaction controls.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for inbound transport, customs compliance, warehousing, and emergency shipments.
- Track and report key performance indicators related to on-time delivery, customs clearance lead times, landed costs, and partner service levels.
- Over 10 years of progressively responsible experience in logistics, supply chain management, transportation, or operations, supported by a relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on expertise.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing international inbound freight, customs clearance, and warehouse operations within Nigeria or similarly complex regulatory environments.
- Proven ability to independently manage an end-to-end operating area, prioritizing tasks and mitigating risks through external partners.
- Strong data analysis skills with the capability to translate shipment, inventory, and cost metrics into actionable business decisions.
- Exceptional commercial judgment, high integrity, and clear communication skills for interacting with senior stakeholders, government counterparts, and logistics vendors.
- Fluency in English with the ability to work on-site in Lagos, including requirements for domestic travel and occasional international trips.
