About the Role
Umza Aviation Services Limited (Umza Air), a rapidly growing Nigerian airline operating under a recently acquired NCAA Air Operator Certificate, is seeking highly skilled and qualified A340-Rated Captains. This is an exciting opportunity for seasoned aviation professionals to play a pivotal role in our expanding international and domestic flight operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and passenger comfort.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on A340 aircraft operations, ensuring safe and efficient flight execution.
- Maintain full compliance with NCAA regulations, company operations manuals, and safety management systems.
- Lead and manage the flight deck crew effectively, fostering a culture of teamwork and open communication.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight planning, weather evaluations, and aircraft performance assessments.
- Ensure timely completion of all required flight documentation and post-flight reporting.
- Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a current A340 type rating.
- Minimum of 5,000 total flying hours.
- Minimum of 2,000 hours on type as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
- Current Class 1 Medical Certificate.
