Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Microbiology.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable local and international journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and academic committee assignments.
- Contribute to community service initiatives and university-wide academic programs.
- Must hold a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Microbiology or a closely related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of post-PhD teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- Must have served as a Lecturer I for at least two (2) years.
- Must possess a strong publication record with a minimum of fourteen (14) peer-reviewed journal articles.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor students and secure research grants is an advantage.
