Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Veterinary Medicine and related disciplines.
- Provide expert clinical services and supervision within the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
- Mentor, advise, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in their research projects.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university committee assignments.
- Collaborate with industry partners and veterinary health professionals to advance animal healthcare standards.
- Must possess a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Veterinary Medicine or a closely related field.
- A minimum of five (5) years of active teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Must have a minimum of eight (8) peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic journals.
- A first degree with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division combined with a PhD.
- Registration with the Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN) with a valid practicing license.
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical instruction and hospital administration.
