About the Role
Brint School is an online learning platform dedicated to creating personalized educational experiences for African children in the diaspora. We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Data Management Tutor to teach learners the fundamentals and practical applications of data management. In this role, you will deliver structured virtual lessons, simplify technical concepts, and help students develop essential skills in handling, organizing, and analyzing data effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and interactive virtual lessons on data management concepts, tools, and industry best practices.
- Teach learners how to collect, organize, clean, store, and manage data efficiently using modern tools.
- Provide hands-on training in spreadsheets, databases, and basic data organization techniques.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans, practical exercises, assignments, and projects tailored to various learning levels.
- Monitor student progress continuously and provide constructive feedback to foster academic and practical growth.
- Maintain high professional standards, punctuality, and excellence during all online teaching sessions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Data Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
- Solid practical knowledge of core data management principles, tools, and workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and foundational database systems such as SQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with data cleaning, storage solutions, and basic data analysis techniques.
- Prior online teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience is a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex topics simply.
