Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Statistics and related courses.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable local and international academic journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committee meetings.
- Mentor junior academic staff and students to foster holistic academic growth.
- A Ph.D. in Statistics or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of five (5) years of active teaching and research experience at the university level.
- A strong publication record comprising a minimum of eight (8) peer-reviewed journal articles.
- A First Degree with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division combined with a Ph.D.
- Demonstrated ability to secure research grants and collaborate on multidisciplinary projects is an added advantage.
