We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified academic professional to join our Department of Nursing Science as a Lecturer II.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate nursing students in accordance with the university curriculum.
- Design, update, and evaluate course materials, learning modules, and assessment instruments.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, clinical placements, and academic field activities.
- Engage in continuous scholarly research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to departmental development.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students to ensure holistic professional growth.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, meetings, and community service initiatives.
- Must hold a PhD in Nursing Science or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Must possess a current professional license and active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Demonstrated experience in teaching and academic research within a tertiary institution is highly advantageous.
- Strong portfolio of peer-reviewed academic publications in reputable journals.
