We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Senior Lecturer to join our esteemed Faculty of Allied Health Science. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical training in public health courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and contribute actively to the academic community through scholarly publications.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committee meetings.
- Mentor junior academic staff and students, fostering a culture of academic rigor and professional ethics.
- Engage in community outreach programs and forge partnerships with health agencies and stakeholders.
- Hold a PhD in Public Health or a closely related relevant field from a recognized university.
- Must have served for a minimum of 2 years as a Lecturer I or equivalent academic position.
- Demonstrate a strong research profile with at least 15 peer-reviewed journal publications in reputable outlets, including a minimum of 3 publications indexed in Scopus or Web of Science.
- Possess proven ICT proficiency with demonstrable competence in digital learning tools and academic software.
- Hold active membership in relevant professional bodies.
- Possession of a mandatory NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
