Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Professor, you will lead the academic development of the Health Information Management department, mentor junior faculty members, and contribute significantly to curriculum enhancement. Key duties include:
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Health Information Management and Allied Health Sciences.
- Conducting high-impact, peer-reviewed research and securing research grants.
- Supervising undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects and theses.
- Participating in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative committees.
- Engaging in community service initiatives and fostering partnerships with relevant healthcare institutions.
Candidates applying for this prestigious academic position must meet the following rigorous criteria:
- Hold a PhD in Health Information Management or a closely related relevant field.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of active service as an Associate Professor.
- Have a strong publication record of at least 25 peer-reviewed journal publications in reputable outlets, with a minimum of 5 publications indexed in Scopus or Web of Science.
- Demonstrate high proficiency in ICT and relevant digital teaching tools.
- Hold active membership in relevant professional bodies.
- Possess a mandatory NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
