About the Role
Christopher University, promoted by Translucent Management Services, bridges the critical gap between academia and industry by delivering industry-relevant education and capacity building. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Lecturer in Public Health to join our esteemed faculty in the School of Allied Health Science at our Mowe, Ogun campus. In this role, you will contribute to shaping the next generation of public health professionals through innovative teaching, rigorous research, and robust industry linkages.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Public Health and related disciplines.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate student research projects and provide comprehensive academic mentorship.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish findings in reputable local and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Design, review, and update curriculum content to align with current industry standards and public health needs.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties and committees.
- Forge and maintain strategic linkages with healthcare organizations, the private sector, and public institutions.
- Must possess a Ph.D. with specialization in Public Health or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 6 years of post-qualification, full-time teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- A strong track record of academic and administrative leadership, including successful student mentorship.
- Demonstrated portfolio of relevant publications in local and international reputable journals.
- Proficiency in digital teaching tools, modern educational technology, and a strong bias for empirical research.
