Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Pharmacology and Toxicology to undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy students.
  • Supervise undergraduate research projects, master's theses, and doctoral dissertations.
  • Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and secure external research grants to advance the department's academic standing.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, course evaluation, and departmental administrative duties as assigned.
  • Engage in community service and institutional development initiatives aligned with the university's strategic goals.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Toxicology, or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
  • Must possess a strong academic background, including a First Degree with a minimum of a Second Class Upper Division, or a Second Class Lower Division coupled with a Ph.D.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of active teaching and research experience at the university level.
  • A robust publication record of a minimum of eight (8) peer-reviewed articles in reputable local and international journals.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor students and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary academic community.
