Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons that align with the early childhood curriculum.
  • Create a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating regularly with parents regarding their children's development.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively and foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Participate in school events, staff meetings, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children under your care at all times.
Qualifications
  • Candidates must possess a minimum of an NCE or ND qualification in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with young children in a nursery, crèche, or early years setting is an added advantage.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A deep passion for child development and a patient, compassionate demeanor.
  • Ability to create innovative teaching aids and utilize modern early childhood pedagogy.
