Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions to undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy students.
  • Supervise undergraduate research projects, master's theses, and doctoral dissertations within the department.
  • Conduct high-impact research in pharmaceutical microbiology and biotechnology, publishing findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, course design, and departmental academic planning initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Possess a PhD in Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
  • Must possess a strong academic background, including a first degree with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division with a PhD.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years of active and progressive tertiary-level teaching and research experience.
  • Must have a minimum of eight (8) quality peer-reviewed publications in reputable national and international journals.
  • Possess excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills suited for a dynamic academic environment.
