Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Microbiology for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Conduct high-quality, cutting-edge research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Provide academic and career mentorship to students to ensure holistic development.
- Participate actively in curriculum development, departmental administration, and university committees.
- Forge and maintain collaborative relationships with industry stakeholders to enhance practical training and research application.
- Must possess a Ph.D. in Microbiology or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Minimum of six (6) years of post-qualification, full-time teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- A proven track record of academic leadership, administrative competence, and student mentoring.
- Strong publication record in reputable local and international academic journals.
