About the Role
De Mould Academy is a leading educational institution in Enugu State, proudly dedicated to fostering academic excellence and holistic student development. We are currently seeking a passionate, dynamic, and experienced Physics and Mathematics Teacher to join our esteemed secondary school faculty. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in simplifying complex scientific and mathematical concepts, igniting intellectual curiosity, and guiding our students toward outstanding academic achievement in both local and national examinations.
Key Responsibilities- Teach engaging and comprehensive Physics and Mathematics lessons to secondary school students, ensuring alignment with the Nigerian and West African educational curricula.
- Prepare students thoroughly and effectively for major external examinations including WAEC and NECO.
- Plan, structure, and deliver well-organized daily lessons while conducting interactive Physics practical experiments to enhance experiential learning.
- Assess, monitor, and record students’ academic progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to underperforming learners.
- Maintain a disciplined, positive, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to effective teaching and optimal learning.
- Ensure student safety at all times and actively participate in extracurricular school activities and assigned administrative duties.
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics, Education, or a closely related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Demonstrated strong subject matter expertise with the proven ability to teach both Physics and Mathematics confidently at the secondary school level.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills paired with robust classroom management capabilities.
- Prior teaching experience preparing students for WAEC and NECO examinations will be considered a significant advantage.
- Possession of recognized teaching qualifications and active TRCN registration are strongly preferred.
