Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures and facilitate practical training in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects and postgraduate theses.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and contribute significantly to the academic standing of the Faculty of Nursing Science.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic mentorship of students.
- Engage in community service and represent the university at academic conferences and professional workshops.
- Possess a PhD in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing or a closely related relevant discipline.
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years of cognate university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
- Demonstrate a strong portfolio of peer-reviewed publications in reputable local and international journals.
- Provide proven evidence of academic leadership, postgraduate teaching capacity, and successful student supervision.
- Possess current professional registration and a valid practicing license with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Demonstrate high ICT proficiency and possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
