Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Medical Laboratory Science.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Conduct high-quality research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Provide robust academic advising, mentoring, and pastoral care to students.
- Participate actively in curriculum development, departmental administration, and university committees.
- Forge and maintain strategic linkages with industry stakeholders and healthcare institutions for practical training and research collaborations.
- Must possess a Ph.D. with a specialization in Medical Laboratory Science or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 6 years of post-qualification, full-time teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- Demonstrated track record of academic and administrative leadership, with proven mentoring capabilities.
- Strong portfolio of relevant publications in reputable local and international academic journals.
