Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in various mechanical engineering courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Design, update, and evaluate curriculum content to ensure alignment with modern industry standards and global best practices.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and actively seek research grants.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, contributing to the overall administration and growth of the institution.
- Mentor and advise students on academic progression, career development, and professional ethics.
- Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrated record of academic teaching experience at the university level, with a minimum requirement at the Lecturer grade or equivalent.
- Strong portfolio of research publications in reputable local and international journals.
- Professional registration with relevant engineering bodies such as COREN (Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria) is mandatory.
