Senior Lecturer (Mass Comunication)

About the Role

• Deliver engaging lectures and coursework for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Mass Communication.
• Supervise undergraduate research projects and mentor graduate students.
• Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed academic research and publish findings in reputable local and international journals.
• Provide academic leadership within the department and contribute to curriculum development.
• Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees and community service initiatives.

• Possess a PhD in Mass Communication or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
• Must have a minimum of five (5) years of cognate university teaching and research experience.
• Demonstrate a strong and verifiable record of peer-reviewed academic publications.
• Proven capacity for postgraduate teaching and supervision, alongside clear evidence of academic leadership.
• Demonstrated ICT proficiency with strong communication, interpersonal, and teaching skills.
• Current professional registration and valid practising licences where applicable.
