We are currently looking for a dedicated Senior Lecturer in Mass Communication to provide exceptional academic leadership, mentor students, and contribute to cutting-edge research within our expanding Department of Mass Communication.
Key Responsibilities- Teach, assess, and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in various Mass Communication courses.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects and postgraduate dissertations.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, review, and departmental accreditation processes.
- Contribute to institutional committees, community engagement initiatives, and university events.
- Provide academic counseling and career guidance to students.
- Must possess a good Ph.D. degree in Mass Communication or a closely related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum of six (6) years of post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- A strong track record of academic publications in peer-reviewed journals.
