Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures and coursework to undergraduate and postgraduate students in Library and Information Science.
- Supervise postgraduate student research theses and dissertations.
- Conduct continuous, high-impact research in the relevant field and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and faculty meetings.
- Contribute to community service initiatives and university-wide academic committees.
- Possess a Ph.D. degree in Library and Information Science or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of six (6) years of post-qualification teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Demonstrate a strong publication record with a minimum of ten (10) articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Proven ability to successfully supervise postgraduate students at master's and doctoral levels.
