KolaDaisi University (KDU), a premier private institution licensed by the National Universities Commission, invites applications from suitably qualified and dynamic academics for the position of Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Law. We are looking for an inspiring legal scholar to join our vibrant academic community starting in the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in various core areas of Law.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, dissertations, and provide academic mentorship to students.
- Design, develop, and update curriculum content in line with contemporary legal standards and NUC guidelines.
- Conduct cutting-edge research and publish scholarly articles in reputable national and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties and committees.
- Contribute to community service initiatives and foster academic partnerships with legal institutions and industry stakeholders.
- Possession of a Ph.D. degree in Law or relevant specialized fields from a recognized and accredited university.
- A minimum of six (6) years of full-time teaching, research, and administrative experience in a tertiary institution.
- A robust portfolio of significant scholarly publications in high-impact national and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Demonstrated capacity to initiate, develop, and successfully execute independent or collaborative research projects.
- Proven ability to provide effective research direction and mentorship to junior academics and students.
- High proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) with demonstrable competence in e-learning platforms.
