Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures, seminars, and tutorials to undergraduate and postgraduate students in International Relations and Diplomatic Studies.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Design, update, and develop curriculum content that aligns with global academic standards and contemporary diplomatic trends.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish peer-reviewed articles in reputable local and international journals.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students to foster personal and professional growth.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university committees, as well as community service initiatives.
- Hold a PhD Degree in International Relations, Diplomatic Studies, Political Science, or a closely related relevant field.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of continuous academic experience as a Lecturer I.
- Demonstrate a robust publication record with at least 15 peer-reviewed journal publications in reputable outlets, including a minimum of 3 publications indexed in Scopus or Web of Science.
- Exhibit strong ICT proficiency with demonstrable competence in digital learning platforms and academic software.
- Maintain active membership in relevant professional bodies.
- Possess a mandatory NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
