About the Role

We are currently seeking a visionary and experienced Senior Lecturer in International Relations to join our esteemed School of Social Sciences at our Mowe, Ogun State campus. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the next generation of global leaders by delivering high-impact lectures, fostering critical thinking, and driving cutting-edge research relevant to public and private sector needs.
Key Responsibilities- Teach, assess, and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in International Relations and related courses.
- Develop and update curriculum content that aligns with global best practices and industry demands.
- Conduct high-quality research and publish scholarly articles in reputable local and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide visionary academic and administrative leadership within the School of Social Sciences.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects and dissertations.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, contributing to institutional growth and accreditation exercises.
- Engage in community service and foster collaborative partnerships with relevant public and private sector stakeholders.
- Must possess a Ph.D. in International Relations or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Minimum of six (6) years of post-qualification, full-time teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- A strong track record of academic publications in reputable local and international journals.
- Demonstrated experience in academic and administrative leadership, student mentorship, and curriculum development.
- Proficiency in digital tools and modern pedagogical techniques applicable to higher education.
