About the Role
Greenland University, Jalingo is the first private university established in Taraba State, Nigeria, operating under the motto "Knowledge for Self-Reliance." We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Lecturer to join our Department of Health Information Management within the Faculty of Allied Health Science. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in Health Information Management to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, dissertations, and academic field placements.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and contribute significantly to the academic profile of the university.
- Participate in curriculum development, review, and accreditation processes for health information programs.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students to foster personal and professional growth.
- Engage in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties and community service initiatives.
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Health Information Management or a closely related relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years of continuous academic experience as a Lecturer I.
- At least 15 peer-reviewed journal publications in reputable outlets, including a minimum of 3 publications indexed in Scopus or Web of Science.
- Demonstrated ICT proficiency with modern educational technologies and learning management systems.
- Active membership in relevant professional bodies.
- Possession of a mandatory NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
