About the Role
Vision University, a dynamic and fast-growing private, faith-based institution in Ikogbo Town, Ogun State, is seeking a qualified and passionate Senior Lecturer in English to join our esteemed faculty. Licensed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in 2023 and mentored by Lagos State University (LASU), we are committed to delivering academic excellence and character development. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in English Language and Literature.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Publish high-impact research papers in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Design, review, and update curriculum content to meet NUC standards and industry demands.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees and community service initiatives.
- Must possess a good Ph.D. degree in English Language, Literature in English, or a closely related field from a recognized university.
- A minimum of six (6) years of post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- A strong track record of academic publications in indexed journals.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor students and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary academic team.
