We are currently seeking a dynamic, experienced, and passionate Senior Lecturer in Education to join our esteemed faculty. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality instruction, driving innovative research, and providing exemplary academic and administrative leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical training in Education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish findings in reputable local and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide visionary academic and administrative leadership within the department and faculty.
- Mentor junior academic staff and students to foster holistic professional and personal development.
- Integrate modern digital tools and innovative pedagogical approaches into the teaching and learning process.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university-wide committees as assigned.
- Possess a good Ph.D. degree with specialization in Education or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrate a minimum of six (6) years of post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- A proven track record of relevant publications in reputable local and international journals.
- Demonstrated experience in academic and administrative leadership, as well as student mentoring.
- Proficiency in digital skills and modern educational technology applicable to the discipline.
