In this role, you will inspire a genuine love for language and literature while shaping the moral and academic foundation of the total child.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive English Language lessons aligned with both the Nigerian and British curricula.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student academic progress, providing actionable and constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages active student participation.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across various departments to support comprehensive student development.
- Participate actively in extracurricular activities, school events, and continuous professional development programs.
- Maintain accurate academic records and meet all institutional administrative deadlines promptly.
- Bachelor degree in English Education or a closely related field, with relevant teaching certifications preferred.
- Possession of a Master degree will be considered an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven teaching experience in a reputable secondary school setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in teaching both the Nigerian and British educational curricula effectively.
- Strong proficiency in utilizing educational technology to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
