Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical training in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise student research projects, clinical practicums, and dissertations at various academic levels.
- Conduct high-quality, impactful research and publish scholarly articles in reputable local, national, and international journals.
- Participate actively in curriculum development, departmental administration, and university committee assignments.
- Provide academic mentoring, career guidance, and pastoral support to students.
- Collaborate with healthcare institutions and professional bodies to enhance clinical training and community outreach programs.
- Possession of a Ph.D. degree in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing or a closely related field from a recognized and reputable university.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of full-time teaching, research, and administrative experience in a university setting.
- Strong portfolio of scholarly publications in peer-reviewed local and international academic journals.
- Active registration and good standing with relevant professional bodies, such as the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
