We are currently inviting suitably qualified, dynamic, and dedicated academic professionals to apply for the position of Senior Lecturer within our vibrant Department of Law, Faculty of Law. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in various core areas of law in accordance with the university curriculum.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, dissertations, and provide academic advising to law students.
- Conduct cutting-edge legal research and publish scholarly articles in reputable, peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Participate actively in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and faculty committees to enhance academic programs.
- Contribute to community engagement initiatives, legal aid clinics, and professional development programs organized by the university.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary research projects and grant applications to advance the university's academic profile.
- Possession of a Ph.D. in Law from a recognized and accredited university.
- Must be a member of the Nigerian Bar Association with verified evidence of Call to the Bar.
- Demonstrated teaching and research experience strictly commensurate with the rank of Senior Lecturer.
- A robust portfolio of scholarly publications in recognized and impactful outlets.
- Comprehensive research statement and a well-articulated teaching philosophy statement.
- Must be able to provide names and contact details of three professional referees upon application.
