We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified English Language Teacher for our secondary section to join our dynamic team of educators in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive English language and literature lessons aligned with the secondary school curriculum.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Guide students in developing strong reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to plan school events, extracurricular activities, and curriculum improvements.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance, behavioral development, and overall academic growth.
- Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language, Literature, or a related field.
- Proven professional teaching experience within a secondary school environment.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children and teenagers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent command of the English language.
- Good knowledge of modern teaching methodologies and classroom management techniques.
