Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Cyber Security and related computing courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish extensively in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the academic visibility of the university.
- Participate in curriculum development, review, and continuous improvement of academic programs within the Faculty of Science and Computing.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
- Engage in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties and community service initiatives.
- Hold a PhD degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years of continuous academic experience as a Lecturer I in a recognized tertiary institution.
- A robust research portfolio comprising at least 15 peer-reviewed journal publications in reputable outlets, including a minimum of 3 publications indexed in Scopus or Web of Science.
- Demonstrable ICT proficiency and competence in utilizing modern digital learning platforms.
- Active membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., CPN, NCS, IEEE, ACM).
- Mandatory possession of an NYSC discharge certificate or valid exemption certificate.
