In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our cyber security programs through rigorous teaching, innovative research, and effective academic leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures and practical instruction in cyber security and related computing disciplines at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Publish high-impact research articles in reputable local and international academic journals.
- Provide visionary administrative leadership within the department and contribute to curriculum development.
- Mentor junior academic staff and students, fostering a culture of academic rigor and moral integrity.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives within the department and participate in community service and university committees.
- Possess a good Ph.D. degree with a specialization in Cyber Security or a closely related computing discipline.
- Minimum of six (6) years of post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- A robust track record of relevant publications in reputable local and international journals.
- Demonstrated experience in academic and administrative leadership, as well as student mentoring.
- Strong digital skills and a profound orientation toward cutting-edge research in cyber security.
