About the Role
The Nook Apartments, a premier boutique luxury hotel and short-stay serviced apartment venue located in the heart of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, is seeking a professional and dedicated Driver to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, comfortable, and timely transportation of our esteemed guests, staff, and management, while maintaining our vehicles to the highest standards of cleanliness and mechanical readiness. Key Responsibilities- Transport hotel guests, VIPs, and staff safely and punctually to designated destinations within Port Harcourt and surrounding areas.
- Maintain company vehicles in pristine condition, conducting routine daily checks on oil, water, battery, and tyre pressure.
- Ensure all vehicle documents, including insurance and vehicle licenses, are up to date and comply with local regulations.
- Plan efficient travel routes while taking real-time traffic updates and road conditions into consideration.
- Assist guests professionally with luggage loading and unloading upon arrival and departure.
- Promptly report any mechanical faults, maintenance needs, or accidents to hotel management.
- Run official errands for the establishment as required by management in a professional manner.
- Minimum of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and extensive knowledge of Port Harcourt routes.
- Relevant professional driving experience within the hospitality or corporate sector is an added advantage.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills to interact politely with diverse guests.
- Demonstrated honesty, high reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
