Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Cyber Security and related computing disciplines to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Design, update, and review curriculum content to reflect the latest industry trends, threats, and technological advancements in cyber security.
- Supervise student research projects, theses, and dissertations at various academic levels.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and actively seek research grants.
- Mentor students academically and professionally, fostering an environment of critical thinking and innovation.
- Participate in departmental administration, curriculum development committees, and university-wide community service initiatives.
- Hold a Ph.D. in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrate a strong academic track record of teaching excellence at the tertiary level, with relevant senior lecturing experience.
- Possess a robust portfolio of publications in reputable peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ will be a distinct advantage.
