Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures and practical sessions in Computer Science to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and actively seek grants.
- Design, review, and update curriculum content to align with current industry standards and technological advancements.
- Mentor and advise students on academic progression, career development, and professional ethics.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, contributing to the overall administration and growth of the institution.
- Must hold a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrated record of teaching excellence in a tertiary institution, preferably at a senior academic level.
- A robust portfolio of peer-reviewed publications in reputable local and international academic journals.
- Strong evidence of successful student mentorship and academic research supervision.
- Membership in relevant professional bodies such as Computer Association of Nigeria (COAN) or NCS will be an added advantage.
