We are currently seeking a dynamic and accomplished Senior Lecturer to join our Department of Computer Engineering and contribute to our growing academic community.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Computer Engineering.
- Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and theses at various academic levels.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable local and international academic journals.
- Contribute actively to curriculum development, course design, and the continuous improvement of academic programs.
- Provide academic advising, mentoring, and career guidance to students to ensure their holistic development.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, accreditation exercises, and community engagement initiatives.
- Must hold a PhD in Computer Engineering or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrated record of academic publications in reputable journals and active engagement in scholarly research.
- Substantial relevant teaching experience at the university level, preferably at a Lecturer I or Senior Lecturer rank.
- Strong commitment to pedagogical excellence, student success, and innovative engineering education.
- Membership in relevant professional engineering bodies such as COREN and NSE is strongly preferred.
