We are currently inviting applications from qualified, dynamic, and dedicated academic professionals to fill the position of Senior Lecturer in Community Health Science within our vibrant Faculty of Science and Allied Health Sciences.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Community Health Science in alignment with NUC benchmarks.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Conduct cutting-edge research and publish scholarly articles in high-impact, peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Provide academic leadership, curriculum development, and mentorship to junior faculty members and students.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, community outreach, and administrative duties.
- Maintain current professional registration and valid practising licenses while upholding institutional standards.
- Must possess a PhD in Community Health Science or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Minimum of five (5) years of cognate university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
- A robust portfolio of peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic journals.
- Proven capacity for postgraduate teaching, supervision, and demonstrated evidence of academic leadership.
- Proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for modern digital pedagogy and research.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teaching skills with a commitment to upholding Christian values and ethics.
- Current professional registration and a valid practising licence where applicable.
