We are currently seeking a qualified and passionate Senior Lecturer in Community Health Nursing to join our vibrant Faculty of Nursing Science and contribute to the shaping of future healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Community Health Nursing and related courses.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Conduct high-quality, impactful research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide academic leadership in curriculum development, departmental administration, and community engagement initiatives.
- Mentor students and offer academic advising aligned with the university's Christian values and ethical standards.
- Participate actively in departmental committees, faculty meetings, and university-wide events.
- Possession of a PhD in Community Health Nursing or a closely relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Minimum of five (5) years of cognate university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
- A robust portfolio of peer-reviewed publications in reputable local and international academic journals.
- Demonstrated capability in postgraduate teaching, student supervision, and academic leadership.
- Current professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) and a valid practicing license.
- Proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for modern digital pedagogy and research.
