About the Role
The University of Benin (UNIBEN) is seeking an accomplished and dedicated Senior Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy to join our esteemed Department of Pharmacy. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the next generation of pharmacists through innovative teaching, impactful research, and clinical mentorship.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical training in Clinical Pharmacy to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects and postgraduate theses (MSc and PhD).
- Conduct cutting-edge, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable local and international academic journals.
- Contribute to curriculum development and enhance clinical pharmacy training standards in alignment with NUC guidelines.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties and community service initiatives.
- Possession of a PhD in Clinical Pharmacy or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of five (5) years of active teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Must have a minimum of eight (8) high-quality, peer-reviewed academic publications.
- First degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or PharmD) not below a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division with a PhD.
- Current registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) with a valid practicing license.
