We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Senior Lecturer to join our Department of Physical Sciences within the Faculty of Physical Sciences. In this role, you will shape the minds of future scientists, conduct cutting-edge research in Chemistry, and contribute to the vibrant academic community of one of Nigeria's leading tertiary institutions.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Chemistry.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, including theses and dissertations.
- Conduct original, high-impact research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committee work.
- Mentor students and provide academic counseling to foster holistic student development.
- Must possess a First Degree with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Division. Candidates with a Second-Class Lower Division must hold a PhD.
- Must possess a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry or a closely related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of active university-level teaching and research experience.
- Must have a minimum of 8 peer-reviewed publications in recognized national and international journals.
