Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Biochemistry to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Design, update, and continuously improve curriculum content to align with modern industry standards and NUC guidelines.
- Conduct cutting-edge research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and actively seek research grants.
- Provide academic mentoring, guidance, and career counseling to students.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, administrative duties, and community service initiatives.
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrated record of academic teaching experience at the university level, preferably at the Lecturer I or Senior Lecturer rank.
- A robust portfolio of peer-reviewed publications in reputable national and international academic journals.
