Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Artificial Intelligence and related computing disciplines.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Drive innovative research initiatives and publish impactful papers in reputable local and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide robust academic and administrative leadership within the department, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Mentor students academically, professionally, and morally in alignment with the institutional values of the university.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university-wide committees.
- Must possess a good Ph.D. degree with a primary specialization in Artificial Intelligence or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of post-qualification, full-time teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- A proven track record of academic leadership, administrative competence, and mentorship.
- Demonstrated strong research bias with a robust portfolio of publications in reputable journals.
