About the Role
Keldiley International School, located in the vibrant neighborhood of New Haven, Enugu State, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. Established in May 2018, our institution provides exceptional early childhood and elementary education, blending formal learning with Montessori play-based approaches to nurture well-rounded global leaders. We are committed to fostering academic, moral, spiritual, social, and creative excellence in children aged 3 months to 12 years.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and inspire elementary learners in Basic Science and related subjects using innovative and interactive pedagogical methods.
- Conduct engaging practical lessons and safe classroom experiments to enhance conceptual understanding.
- Develop curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for scientific exploration among students.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
- Minimum of NCE, BSc, B.Ed, or equivalent in a relevant science discipline.
- Proven teaching experience in a reputable school environment is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
