Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures, seminars, and practical studio sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate architecture students.
- Supervise student design projects, dissertations, and theses at various academic levels.
- Conduct impactful research, publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and actively secure research grants.
- Participate in curriculum development, course design, and departmental accreditation processes.
- Mentor students and provide academic advising to ensure holistic student development and success.
- Contribute to administrative duties and community service initiatives within the department and the wider university.
- Must hold a Ph.D. in Architecture or a closely related and relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrated record of academic publishing and active research in architectural studies.
- Prior teaching and lecturing experience at the university level, preferably at a senior academic rank.
- Professional registration with relevant regulatory bodies, such as the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON), is a strong advantage.
