About the Role
MTN Nigeria, Africa's leading telecommunications powerhouse, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Lead for Commercial Sourcing within our Finance division. In this pivotal role, you will champion the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while driving innovation, sustainability, and continuous process improvements in alignment with MTN's overarching strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Review and process approved requisitions for negotiations and purchase orders in strict compliance with global and local policies and procedures.
- Initiate and manage Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs), contract drafting requests, and subsequent amendments as needed.
- Monitor and manage key performance metrics, ensuring alignment with group and local governance targets.
- Analyze internal stakeholder requirements to align procurement activities with organizational needs and quality assurance standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, proactively monitoring and resolving any supply chain delays or disruptions.
- First degree in a relevant discipline; PGD, MBA, and CIPS certifications are distinct advantages.
- 3 to 7 years of professional experience in commercial sourcing or purchasing, including supervisory experience within a medium to large organization.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and the ability to effectively utilize Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems.
- Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills with fluency in English.
