Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily laboratory operations across specialized diagnostic units.
- Perform complex laboratory tests and assays in oncology, hematology, chemistry, and pathology.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality control, biosafety standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage, calibrate, and maintain advanced laboratory equipment and diagnostic technologies.
- Analyze diagnostic results accurately and collaborate with physicians to support evidence-based treatment plans.
- Mentor, train, and supervise junior laboratory scientists and technical support staff.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and manage inventory for laboratory reagents and supplies.
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Current practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) or relevant international equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of hands-on laboratory experience, preferably within a tertiary hospital or advanced diagnostic facility.
- Proven expertise in specialized diagnostics related to oncology or cardiovascular medicine.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and modern diagnostic software.
