About the Role
Paystack is transforming online commerce across Africa by simplifying payments and building world-class financial infrastructure. We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Engineer to join our high-impact IT Operations team and help scale our secure, automated systems across six global offices, including Lagos, Nairobi, and Accra.
Key Responsibilities- Drive identity lifecycle management by configuring SAML, OIDC, and SCIM provisioning while enforcing phishing-resistant authentication.
- Maintain and improve joiner, mover, and leaver pipelines through robust automation and API integrations.
- Oversee our fully automated macOS fleet, zero-touch enrollment, and device trust policies to ensure enterprise endpoint security.
- Manage physical multi-site networks, multi-WAN failover, VLAN segmentation, and secure carrier connectivity.
- Lead the migration from legacy VPNs to Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) with real-time device posture checking.
- Treat IT as code using Terraform, Git workflows, and Python or Bash to build API-driven infrastructure.
- Enforce automated compliance controls to satisfy ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NDPR, and CBN regulatory requirements.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure or systems engineering within high-leverage teams.
- Deep technical expertise in at least two core areas: Identity & Access Management, Endpoint Management, Network Engineering, or Infrastructure as Code.
- Demonstrated experience operating under rigorous external compliance frameworks and audits.
- Strong background in building API-first automation and treating infrastructure as code.
- Excellent technical writing and documentation skills to ensure long-term operational resilience.
