About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitising Africa's real economy by building a comprehensive financial ecosystem for businesses. We provide payment, banking, credit, and business management tools that help African businesses succeed. We are currently looking for a talented Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria and help build the future of African fintech.
Key Responsibilities- Design robust algorithms, system architectures, and technical flowcharts in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Produce clean, efficient, and scalable code based on detailed technical specifications.
- Integrate software components, microservices, and third-party financial programs seamlessly.
- Verify, test, and deploy programs and systems within a test-driven development environment.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software to optimize performance and user experience.
- Gather and evaluate user feedback to recommend and execute continuous improvements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for internal reference and reporting.
- BSc or BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 7 to 10 years of professional experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or in a similar technical role.
- 5 plus years of hands-on MERN stack experience with strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, and Node.js.
- 2 plus years of experience with an Object-Oriented Programming language such as Java or C sharp.
- Demonstrated experience working with relational and non-relational databases including MySQL, MongoDB, MSSQL, and Redis.
- Familiarity with modern infrastructure tools including Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture on AWS.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude, resourcefulness, and excellent communication skills.
